Hi Rob and Tweeters,

Your post reminded me of a time in the fall being
alarmed on by chickadees on the Sandpiper Trail in
Bowerman Basin. They really didn't want me there but
didn't go so far as to dive bomb me. So I stood my
ground against these fearless little birds and had a
wonderful time picking through all the other birds who
had to come and see what the fuss was about. I'll
never know what brought that on. I moved up and down
the boardwalk a bit just to be sure it was me they
were chattering about and they were on my every move.
