Hello Tweeties,

the newest edition of Birds in the News is now
available for you to enjoy. This issue features a cute
picture of a first-winter white-throated sparrow that
you will enjoy. This migratory species is currently
flooding into Manhattan and is occupying our parks en
masse;

The hummingbird images by Greg Scott are still
continuing to pop up, one image per day at 3pm EST
from 5-12 December, so be sure to poke around the site
to see those -- you'll be glad that you did!

Additionally, I wrote an essay today about the need
for a specific presidential debate that focuses on
science that you might wish to read and comment on;

It is likely that the mainstream media (MSM) will pick
up on this story tomorrow (a large number of
scientists got together to make a concerted effort to
write about it today so as to draw MSM attention to
this important issue).
