Hi Brett,

What birds are they trying to "dissuade?" It suppose it must be the
humble but beautiful rock dove. If the lasers are harmless to the
birds where is the "dissuasive factor?" This appears to be further
evidence of a human "technology gene" or at least mania which causes us
to develop technology without regard to its effects and use it without
regard to its costs. If you got a laser, you damn well better use it!
