Subject: [Tweeters] Samish Harris's easy to find

Dear Tweeters,

Thanks to Bob Sundstrom for the Harris's Sparrow tip.
It took me all of 2 minutes to see the bird on
12-13-07 in the afternoon, just squeezing in a quick
visit between doctor's appointments. The HASP was
feeding with other Zonotrichias in the bramble edges
by the pink-spray-painted guardrail, just east of the
"West Edison, Population --" (was it 4 or six people
who live there, cannot remember?) sign. I did not even
need to get out of the car. This location is near the
mouth of the Samish River, Skagit County, by the
bridge that has boats moored by it.

Yours truly,

Gary Bletsch
