Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday December 20. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls

The well marked ARCTIC LOON continues to be seen on Blind Slough at
Brownsmead east of Astoria.

BROWN PELICANS are still being seen all along the Oregon coast. On December
13, 31 EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVES were in Brookings. An EMPEROR GOOSE was at
the Deans Creek Elk Viewing Area east of Reedsport December 17. A GOSHAWK
was near the Astoria Airport December 14. On December 16 a RED-NAPED
SAPSUCKER was at Warrenton.

A PRAIRIE FALCON was seen December 15 on Sauvie Island. A MOCKINGBIRD and a
LAPLAND LONGSPUR were near Corvallis December 18. Fifteen TREE SWALLOWS were
over Fern Ridge Reservoir December 19.

On December 16 about 100 TRICOLORED BLACKBIRDS and 65 COWBIRDS were at a
feed lot near Madras. Four TRICOLORED BLACKBIRDS were seen December 15 near
Antelope. Six TREE SPARROWS were at Summer Lake December 18. On December 15
a flock of 15 TREE SPARROWS were at Malheur NWR. The next day two BOHEMIAN
WAXWINGS and a SCRUB-JAY were in Hines.
