Hi Tweets,

I went to Renton this morning to see if a Slaty-backed Gull was at
the mouth of the Cedar River. None. Viewing conditions were very
good. There was no wind and no rain. I was there from 9:30 to 11:30
with no other birders in sight. Gull numbers were thin but species
representation was good. The gulls that were there were Western,
Glaucous-winged, Ring-billed, Herring, Thayer's, and Mew. Other
birds seen this morning were:

Canada Goose
Mallard
Common Goldeneye
Barrow's Goldeneye
Lesser Scaup
Hooded Merganser
Common Merganser
Bufflehead
Western Grebe (160+)
Horned Grebe
Bald Eagle
Great Blue Heron
Belted Kingfisher
Crow

There should be more gulls around this afternoon as they position
themselves for roosting on the Boeing roofs.
