Christmas morning at 9:36 there were two Peregrines perched atop a freeway light standard on the north side of I90 right at the intersection with 156th SE in Bellevue. I got a good look at the birds (so nice to be a passenger and not a driver) and I'm assuming a pair as there was definite dimorphism from a size perspective. I noted that the pigeons in the area were flying low and fast out of their perches under and on the overpasses for 148th and the Eastgate Park and Ride. There are lots of pigeons and ducks (on wastewater retention ponds) in the area, a virtual Peregrine potluck, so maybe they'll hang around.
