i'm drawing a blank on the swan lady's name, so i'll just post the word here. there is a neck-banded trumpeter swan on the frontage road running south of the shell station at exit 221, east side of i-5. the number on the red band appears to be 9f4, but the numbers are so stylized i can't be sure. there's an aluminum band on the right leg as well.

beaucoup eagles in the neighborhood as well.
