A quick post about some good birds seen at Westport
during the Grays Harbor CBC:
Scott Mills came up with a Bullock's Oriole in
Westport. I went back today and got some
pics(hopefully!).
I and Bill Tweit found a White-throated Sparrow in
town at Westport as well.
In addition, we had a gorgeous Juv Peregrine Falcon
feeding on a 1st year Thayer's gull right at dawn at
the Jetty. And a Short-eared Owl that circled over
the channel in the early morning.
Good birding, with some tough weather!
