It was great to see the link Dennis posted. The pilot, Ken Franklin, and the peregrine, Frightful, live on San Juan Island. Several years ago Ken gave a talk at the Museum of Flight. He showed a film he has made about the training and flights of Frightful. It is amazing to see how these birds are built for speed. If you ever have a chance to see Ken and Frightful, don't miss it.
