My guess is that the white visible in the photo is the exposed tail. In
any case, the legs are still far too long for Terek Sandpiper and the
bill is too thin and straight. I have seen Terek Sandpiper, and this
photo just isn't right.

That was my first reaction, as well. The photo's not that definitive and
