The evening of January 31st my daughter and I were walking the dog
around 10:30pm or so and heard an uncommon sound that drew our
attention. We looked up just in time to see a small flock of Trumpeter
Swans flying low over our Ballard / Crown Hill (Seattle) neighborhood,
heading northbound. The sound of their call plus the lovely sound of
their wings in the still of the night was awesome. Did anyone else
experience this?
