Hi Tweets,

For those of you who are county or city listers, you might be
interested to know that Dennis Duffy and Ted Peterson have been
observing Common Redpoll at the Edmonds Marsh (City of Edmonds,
County of Snohomish) for at least the last several weeks. They don't
see them every day but most days. They are mostly seen in a flock of
American Goldfinches, feeding on the alder catkins along the red
pathway, between the second and third observation platforms. Ted
mentioned seeing a small flock of 5-7 redpolls across the Marsh at
the Deer Creek Fish Hatchery one day. Typically they are seeing one
redpoll among the goldfinches and occasionally seeing just a small
flock of redpolls. They usually see them between 9 and 10 a.m. It
took me three visits before I finally saw one redpoll high in an
alder feeding with the goldfinches.
