must be the time of year... i've been listening to my juncos singing all
morning, both the slates and the oregons... AND, to top it off, in the last
ten minutes i've fed my first four american goldfinches of the year... not
in breeding colours yet, but that wingbar is still quite bright already...

methinks someone should poke Punxsutawney Phil out of his burrow at least
one month earlier from now on...
