On Saturday I went to look for the shorebirds along the Duwamish Head at Alki, and found them. I counted 59 Surfbirds and about 25 Black Turnstones, the two species were flocking together and spread out all along the rocky area below the seawall.

If you want to see these birds come to Alki. Lots of other nice seabirds as well. I also saw several Pelagic Cormorants.
