Hi Tweeters,

As always the Burke Museum gladly accepts dead birds. You can drop off specimens at the front desk or loading dock of the museum from 10-5 daily. Additionally, I or another Burke representative come to WOS meetings with a cooler to pick up birds. There is a WOS meeting tonight, so it is a good opportunity to empty out your freezer. When brining in specimens to the museum or a WOS meeting, please include information such as the date the bird died (or was found dead), the location, and your name. Thanks to all who contribute to collections by depositing dead birds at museums. These salvages are very valuable contributions to research and teaching collections!

Good birding,
