Dear tweets,

In my neck of the woods--here on Whidbey Island-- river otters are
becoming a problem. They are denning under the deck of our house. We've
tried a variety of armorings including chicken wire and barbed wire to
discourage them. Yet they are still managing to slither in.

Does anyone know of a way to discourage them using strong scent? Or
other suggestions?
