Hello Tweets,

We have just updated our website with recent photos taken over this past weekend. These photos include the adult Snowy Owl from Damon Point at Ocean Shores,which was most cooperative atop a spruce tree. Additionally, we took our best photos to date of a subadult White-tailed Kite at Bottle Beach. This bird was also quite cooperative and it was enjoyable to watch it hunt and perch at such a close range. In addition we wish to add that we surveyed the newly developed Nisqually Restoration Site located along the north side of the Nisqually River in Pierce Co. This area has been flooded after dikes were broken last fall to change the area to it's original form and structure. Highlight species during our visit today included 4 Greater Yellowlegs, 1 Western Sandpiper, 800+ Dunlin and 3 Hutton's Vireos.
