Hi Frances, and all:
Washington Fish and Wildlife has a great website about nuisance animals,
including River Otter, N. Flicker, Rats, etc. The info is there about
repelling or discouraging many animals. It is in great detail, and includes
the biology of the animals. It is based on Russell Link's book, Living With
Wildlife. Mr Link is a WDFW biologist.
Here is the website to this great site. You should also be able to view a
number of headings at the top to find species other than River Otter.
