Subject: [Tweeters] Whooper Swan seen near Conway, Feb. 7

Tweeters,

The much-sought WHOOPER SWAN was seen yesterday with about
100 TRUMPETER SWANS near Conway by Barry Ulman from
Bellingham. It was seen from the frontage road east of Interstate 5,
north of Exit 225 but south of the alpaca farm. This is a location where
the Whooper has been seen previously, and which often has a large
flock of swans.

I am reporting the gist of a message posted by Barry on the WHATCOM
BIRDS group. He didn't say what time of day he saw the bird.

As far as I know, this is the first report of the Whooper since February 1.

A word to the wise should be sufficient!
