I know this has been a topic before, but I wonder if anyone has any recent experiences with international air travel and their scope. I plan on packing the tripod but keeping the scope in my carry on bag with binoculars. The last time I packed my binoculars a baggage handler at one of our very secure airports ripped them off. Do scopes pose any problems with our so-called security?
