This Evening, my dad and I were walking through the monlake fill trying to
get out of the rain when suddenly at the south east edge of the park I
spotted a massive golden eagle! it was perched in a large deciduous tree
near the water and every so often would look down at us . We are almost
certain that it was a golden eagle becuase of its coulouring and overall
shape. I have never heard of a golden eagle sighting in the fill, if anyone
has i would like to read about it so please post it. I last saw the eagle
take off and begin to fly across the lake towards the arboretum. if anyone
sees it please le us know.
thank you
