While getting skunked on the Whooper Swan on Saturday (2/10), Joe Dlugo & I
zoomed up to Blaine for about 1.5 hours searching for the King Eider without
success.

Sunday (2/11) After my scope views of the Whooper Swan, I headed to Renton
to try for the Slaty-backed at 9:30 am and back again at 12:00 pm without
success.

Between gull checks, I went over to Carnation to see if there were any
blackbirds around, but I could not find any blackbirds whatsoever between
60th St & Carnation Farm Rd.
