I also saw about 5-600 robins in my neighborhood east of Yakima as I was coming home from work today. Most were flying low and landing in any tree they could find. Sometimes there were 10-20 robins in every tall tree you could see. Reminiscent of the huge movement of robins we had last year that was recorded on the Great Backyard Bird Count.

Had a group of about 100 robins in the neighbors crab apple tree along with them was a downy woodpecker, Bohemian waxwing, Townsend's solitaire and a varied thrush. Bird movement is in full swing here.
