My wife and I visited the Edmonds Marsh this morning. The path along the
north end of the marsh was alive with birds. We were only there for about
30 minutes, but we saw 21 species. Here's a list of the species that were
sighted in no particular order:



Yellow-rumped Warbler

Golden-crowned Sparrow

Northern Flicker

Song Sparrow

American Goldfinch

Pine Siskin

Bushtit

Ruby-crowned Kinglet

Spotted Towhee

Dark-eyed Junco

House Finch

Brewer's Blackbird

Red-winged Blackbird

European Starling

American Robin

American Crow

Killdeer

Mallard

Glaucous-winged Gull

Anna's Hummingbird

Bewick's Wren



I took photos of several of the birds including a Bewick's Wren. The wren
photo was taken head on and he looks either very annoyed or possibly a
little bit like an alien. Check it out at
