A flock of 20+ swans has shown up in a field along State Route162 near
Orting . . they were seen south of Military Road on the west side of the
highway. The report comes from a long-time resident birder who has never seen them
in this area before, and for those of us who won't be going farther north,
it's an unexpected pleasure. Good birding!. M.
