Hi Tweeters,

I spent the weekend with my wife visiting friends in Aberdeen. The
trip list was fairly short but I had a great time and saw some
wonderful birds. Photos in the new photos folder on my website include:

At Bottle Beach:
* The White-tailed Kite that has been seen there for several
weeks. It caught a large rodent, possibly a Long-tailed Vole, while
we were watching it. If anyone can identify the prey, I will
appreciate knowing what it is. It might be a little difficult to
identify, since the kite bit off the head before I got my first photo.
* A juvenile Peregrine Falcon that landed in fir tree near the beach.
At Tokeland:
* Three Marbled Godwits on a pier at the marina.
On Damon Point:
* Two photos of a Snowy Owl that was about 200 yards east of the
pond. It was a beautiful bird!
