Myself and a small group of my students are designing an online field guide
project which when it is finished will cover the common plants, birds,
mammals, herps and insects of the lowland Pacific Northwest. The site is
designed for absolute beginners and I am looking for digital photos of
common birds and mammals. I have a list of about 90 species of birds we have
decided are most common and easily found. If you are willing to donate some
photos please email mail and I can send you the list of what we have. This
website will mostly be used by middle school students, but of course, the
web can be accessed by anybody. The project will not be online until June,
and then it will be iterated over time to upgrade the text, pictures or to
add additional species.
