Greetings All,

My wife and I took advantage of the Monday holiday and did one of those wild things only birders would understand. Off we went at O dark thirty, headed for Eugene, Oregon and the reported Falcated Duck that has been wintering there. Many thanks to Harry Nehls of Portland for the detailed directions. The duck was located within 5 minutes of arriving and we watched it for 30 minutes before returning to Tacoma. The drive is about 4 hours each way. Like I said, only a birder...

But oh, what a beautiful bird!
