Today I was looking for birds in my neighborhood and saw a Turkey Vulture
fly over the intersection between 135th and 15th. I was able to watch it for
a short time and observe the "V" that they hold their wings in. Also today I
broke the one day record for my neighborhood with 40 species plus one heard.
I saw two bald eagles and possibly five red tailed hawks. also a golden
crowned sparrow which I have never seen by my house before. It was a great
day!
