Subject: [Tweeters] Great Blue Heron at Volunteer Park!

I have recently been seeing a cool great blue heron in volunteer park. It
will fly in usually on Sunny mornings and land in the koi pond! recently the
park has put up netting on most of the pond but a few fish venture out side
of the netting and get swallowed! if you want to get some up close photos of
a heron that's the place to go because he seems very tame for some reason
and doesn't mind if you approach him (to a certain extent) I was also happy
to see a pair of mallards there for the first time, but the Seattle parks
wants people to discouraged all birds from the ponds because of loss of
fish. I have also spotted bald eagles feeding on the koi but not recently.
Good Birding!
please respond if you see any of theses birds
