The following species were observed by Wayne Weber at Lake Terrell,
Whatcom County, between about 1:30 and 2:30 PM on
February 23, 2007. Although the lake is somewhat
sheltered by trees, the wind was strong enough to
make it difficult to detect songbirds.

Of note were 4 REDHEADS (2 males and 2 females), a bird
which is probably regular at Lake Terrell in winter, but
rare nonetheless. They were in the middle of a large
group of American Coots and Lesser Scaup.
