Russian biologist Vasiliy Baranyuk and WDFW waterfowl program director Don Kraege will give a special presentation on Pacific Flyway snow geese Tues March 6, 7pm, at Padilla Bay Reserve. Don will outline management goals and distribution of geese in our region. Vasiliy has been doing research at Wrangel Island Nature Preserve for 25 years on snow geese and several species of mammals. He will share rarely seen images of nesting geese, polar bears, reindeer, musk ox, and the diverse plant life found on the island.

Directions - I-5 Exit 231 Chuckanut Drive, West side of freeway immediate left on Josh Wilson Rd, West approx 10 miles to Bay View, at T turn right on Bay View-Edison Rd, north 1 mile, Padilla Bay Interpretive Center on right

Doantions at the door will aide Vasiliy's snow goose banding program.
