My wife and I were birding on south Whidbey, Saturday, 2/25. About 3:30 we
drove to the SE side of Deer Lake, descending to the end of Sound View Dr,
adjacent to the Useless Bay Gold course. We watched a northern shrike for
several minutes with 11x binocs at about 30m.
