Several people responded to me via my e-mail address. I need to do my
homework and go back and revisit this bird now that I?ve been appraised of
which field marks are important . For now the bird is safe and if it turns
out to be a Sabine?s, I?ll make every effort to get it to the folks at the
Burke Museum.
Now a disclaimer: I am not a gull expert and my Sabine?s experience is
almost nil. I was not only very fatigued last night but also suffering from
my thrice yearly bout with bronchitis ( did I mention the 2 glasses of red
wine?) so I may have missed something. Please give me a couple of days to
get well and I?ll report back as soon as my breathing will allow.
