My "first" birds were the same four as Caren
--followed quickly by
Chestnut backed chicadees - at least 6 of them, a
couple of Spotted Towhees, a Varied Thrush and a Hairy
Woodpecker.
I have a couple of little brown birds that just don't
precisely match my birdbook pictures -- perhaps they
are Song Sparrows and Fox Sparrows. Just wish I could
be SURE.
