A basic-plumage adult Pacific Golden-Plover was with a group of ~100
Black-bellied Plovers on the Samish Flats this afternoon. The bird was on
Bayview-Edison Rd east of the east 90 and just west of the intersection of
Bayview-Edison and Farm-to-Market Rd. It is a strikingly golden individual
and may very well be the same bird that Marv Breece found in this area last
year return for a second winter.
