Hello, tweeters.

I have written a number of times asking about occurrence of Red
Crossbills in the area for crossbill researchers.

Now there is a new faculty member at Pacific Lutheran University,
Julie Smith, who is interested in this information. She wants to
study crossbills but has a sufficiently heavy teaching load that she
can't run around in the field as much as she would like. She would
love to have some prior insight into places to spend her limited
field time this winter.

If anyone knows of any concentrations of Red Crossbills, from the
Cascades west, could you please email her with that info?
