Hello All,

I began this morning at 7:00 AM at the Feryn's Place on the Peone Prairie,
where I got 2 Great Horned Owls, 2 Barn Owls, 1 SHORT EARED OWL, a flyover
flock of about 15 COMMON REDPOLLS, a N Shrike, a Brown Creeper, several N
Harriers, Rough Legged Hawks and a couple of Am Ketrels.

Madison road produced a Northern Pygmy Owl, 3 nuthatches and the other usual
stuff.

Then I went to Painted Rocks to look for the Canyon and Rock Wrens, which I
did not see, but had Bewick's and Winter Wrens all over the place - both in
the same bush fussing at me at the same time.

About noon, it began to snow as I made my way out to Stevens County along
the Long Lake north shoreline. Tum Tum turned out to be some fun. Along
"Heron Way" off Hgway 291 in Tum Tum, I found a flock of 25 PINE GROSBEAKS,
and 7 Varied Thrush, Am Robins, and about 100 Bohemian Waxwings eating in
one Mt. Ash together. Also, from the resort in Tum Tum, among the common
ducks was a make Canvasback and a female RED BREASTED MERGANSER.

Blessings,

Terry Little
