This afternoon there were two wintering Burrowing Owls out just before sunset. A half mile west of SR 17 on the deep drainage ditch looking north from Suutton Road (3 mile north of Cunningham Road/Main St in Othello). Probably wondering why the wind wasn't blowing so hard after 15 hours of such. Gravel roads are still very soft so don't wander off well-worn routes.
