Today I visited Sandy Daniel's residence and the GRAY-HEADED JUNCO provided some excellent views. I arrived at about 11:00 am and within 5 minutes the junco was foraging near the feeder in the backyard. After viewing the junco for a while I birded the yard around the house (great habitat for a variety of birds); and had VARIED THRUSH, EVENING GROSBEAK, DOWNEY WOODPECKER, GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROWS, BEWICK'S WREN, and quite a few other yard birds. A fun time.

Cheers and Good Birding;
