Tweets,

I spent five hours staking out the "grassy knoll" and vicinity along 64 th St. at the GRNRA, aka Kent Ponds today without success, though the Red-shouldered was spotted just before I got there ca. 10:30 AM by Carol Riddell and Ann Marie Wood just to the south along the eastern sector of the power line trail, but it flew off to the southwest from there.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed visiting with Carol, Ann Marie, Marv Breece, Kathy Andrich, and Matt Bartels who joined in the search.

Matt and I glimpsed an immature Northern Shrike, a Peregrine, and a Cooper's Hawk just northwest of the animal shelter and the scrub-jays were vocalizing along the power line trail east of 64th.
