Howdy all,
Not much to see at the end of Ediz Hook Sunday afternoon ... until a winter-plumaged adult black-legged kittiwake flew in and perched on the boulders 25 feet from my car. It preened and rested for about 15 minutes before flying off to the east.
There was also a pair of hooded mergansers at the Daishowa/Nippon lagoon.
