Subject: [Tweeters] change in Crow behavior?

Greetings tweeters,

On Saturday at around 4pm, Helen Gilbert and I went to observe the Crow roost at
Foster's Island. We didn't know which trees they are using now so we watched
the skies for 30-40minutes and didn't see one Crow. But then, we looked down
and observed hundreds of them coming in from the east, but very low--barely over
the water. Has anyone else noticed this different arrival path? Any explanation?
The trees near the nude swimming area were gratifyingly filled with the birds.

Thanks,
Henry Noble
