Subject: [Tweeters] Discovery Park 1/9

Hi all,

Here are the highlights of my walk at Discovery Park
from 9-11am today. Tide was in. Wind was from the
south at a constant 25mph.

A raft of ~250 WESTERN GREBE on the north (sheltered)
side of the point. Nice looks with binoculars. Some
were even calling.

200+ PINE SISKIN in the alder by the northwest corner
of the large military housing complex (the one
furthest west). Most were backlit, so could not tell
if any redpoll were hiding in the flock.
