The Book Discussion Group at Seattle Audubon is reading the first
chapter of Dennis Paulson's first book on the "Shorebirds of the Pacific
Northwest," which we will begin to discuss Feb. 11. Dr. Paulson has
kindly agreed to attend one of our meetings this spring as we read the
first five chapters of his book. The group has been full, but I've just
moved to a larger meeting space and am able to accept a few more into
the group if others are interested to read the book and to meet this
esteemed author and teacher of the Master Birder Program. An
internationally recognized expert on the shorebirds of this area, Dr.
Paulson's book offers excellent tips on shorebird identification that
are used by David Sibley and others.
