About 20 minutes ago a Varied Thrush hit my window. I found the bird
sitting on the ground with its eyes open and blinking, but otherwise not
moving. I put the bird in a paper grocery bag and took it inside.
According to the Internet, if it starts scratching, I can open the bag
outside and let it go.

Well, I don't know if this bird will recover or not, but am I doing the
right thing? And is there a place on Whidbey Island that I can call to
rehabilitate an injured bird?
