I ventured out again this sunny afternoon checking out some more places.
A stop at the county park in Toledo produced 8 Lesser Scaup and a Brown
Creeper.
Along Smokey Valley Rd. there was 1 Greater White-fronted Goose in the
mix of about 300 Cackler Geese. Also sharing the same field were about
50 Elk.
On Mandy Rd. I found 1 Eurasian Wigeon in the mix with about 100
American Wigeons.
A check at the Goodrich Pond at the end of the day, got me 1 Least
Sandpiper and 2 Western Meadowlarks. I checked the feeders for the
White-throated Sparrow, but did not see it. Not as many birds at the
feeder, got there late in the day.
