Hey tweeters,

I just wanted to thank all the great birders I met yesterday looking for the whooper swan. Most of the birders yesterday were out-of-towners including Indiana, Mass., 2 Texas locales, Yakima, and Portland. I particularly want to thank Jim and Susan from Indiana for scope use and their cell phone, Bill and Steve from Mass. who called us to let us know the swan's location, and most importantly Lucie Bruce (please drop me an email) from Dallas who spotted the swan and shared her scope. It was a great/successful trip and I enjoyed meeting everyone. Thanks and may your future birding trips be as successful.
