There may be at least three Snowy Owls in Douglas County. Ann Marie Wood and I saw an adult a couple of miles northwest of Mansfield on Friday the 12th and the WOS trip picked up two immature birds on Saturday the 13th a few miles more to the west along Highway 172. As always, scan the rock outcroppings closely.
